Every year the Burton Amateur Regatta Association holds a rowing regatta on the washlands of Burton upon Trent.
This traditional event has been a great attraction for rowers, families, guests, patrons and sponsors from all over the Midlands and further a field since 1865.
Because of the large diverse attendance throughout the years, both local and national businesses have chosen to sponsor the complete regatta, or simply singular events.

The Regatta provides companies with a unique promotional opportunity amongst the public in addition to offering you and your colleagues a superb day out to watch the racing and unwind after a hard week’s work in the sponsors’ enclosure.
This year the sponsors’ marquee and enclosure will provide a spectacular view - just meters from the true finish line - boasting a conventional bar which is complemented with indoor tables and outdoor tables. Since it is a summer event, we are expecting glorious warm weather.
A buffet will be on offer for Sunday lunchtime to those sponsors who wish to embrace in the event for a full day at a cost of £16 per head.
Should you decide to sponsor an event, your company name will appear in the programmes and will be announced each time a race from your event emerges on the course. Furthermore, you may wish to increase your presence at the event by negotiating further advertising around the site and inside the marquee, or making yourself available to award the prizes of your event (a wonderful photo opportunity).
Sponsorship is a vital part
of that support, and is welcomed in any form,
whether it is financial or in kind.
By supporting the Regatta through sponsorship,
you and/or your company can expect maximum advertising
exposure, your name will appear in the programme
against ‘your’ event. In addition,
sponsors receive complimentary tickets to the
enclosure and President’s Marquee and
we ask them to present the trophies for their
event/s to the winning crews.
In return, we get the prestige
of being associated and supported by local individuals
and companies without this we would could not
run such a high profile event.
