The Burton Annual Regatta - 12th and 13th July 2008

Burton Regatta is a unique event in the East Midlands, offering corporate bodies and individuals an opportunity to promote their organisation and/or entertain their most valued clients or guests, in a traditional sporting and social environment of the highest quality. Burton Regatta, first held in 1865, is one of the oldest annual sporting events in the country. Nationally recognised as one of the finest river regattas, and this year has attracted competitors from Great Britain, Burton‘s Twin Town Lingen in Germany and Australia to compete for the magnificent array of silver trophies, which is itself one of the finest collections in the United Kingdom.
	The traditional, but highly competitive, “Oxford v Cambridge” type boat racing throughout the day is on the beautiful River Trent running through the unspoilt Regatta Meadows, and on the riverbank a range of traditional family entertainment. The Corporate and Sponsor’s Private Enclosure comprises of a magnificently appointed marquee, which provides the highest quality dining, and bar facilities for its Patrons. The popularity of the event with corporate organisations increases each year, and many of our sponsors book from year to year to ensure their place.
