The Regatta Meadows are on the opposite side of the River to Stapenhill Gardens. Access by car is via Watson Street, Burton upon Trent. Access by foot is via the Ferry Bridge. Please see the map below for further guidance.
 
   
Burton Regatta is signposted once in the town, please follow direction’s for Trent Washlands. For SatNav or 'Online Route Finder' users, please use the following postcode: DE14 3AH. This will get you to Watson Street which leads onto the Regatta Meadows.

A50 From Stoke Exit A50 follow the signs for A38 Burton on Trent, you need to carry straight on past the first turn off for Burton, take the exit signposted Branston, there is a big industrial complex on your left, go up the slip road and go left and you will approach a roundabout, take the first exit, you will then reach a second roundabout, take a right turn into Branston Village, following the main road (Burton Road), you will reach a mini roundabout, go straight over and follow the road for Burton (Branston Road), under the railway bridge, and the third turning on your right is Watson Street, stay on this road, Tesco will be on your left and this will take you onto the Washlands.

A38 from Derby Follow the signs for A38 Burton on Trent, you need to carry straight on past the first turn off for Burton, take the exit signposted Branston, there is a big industrial complex on your left, go up the slip road and go left and you will approach a roundabout, take the first exit, you will then reach a second roundabout, take a right turn into Branston Village, following the main road (Burton Road), you will reach a mini roundabout, go straight over and follow the road for Burton (Branston Road), under the railway bridge, and the third turning on your right is Watson Street, stay on this road, Tesco will be on your left and this will take you onto the Washlands. A38 From Lichfield Come straight down the A38 and take the turn off signposted Branston, take the third left off the roundabout, you will then reach a second roundabout, take a right turn into Branston Village, following the main road (Burton Road), you will reach a mini roundabout, go straight over and follow the road for Burton (Branston Road), under the railway bridge, and the third turning on your right is Watson Street, stay on this road, Tesco will be on your left and this will take you onto the Washlands. (If you reach the next roundabout you have gone too far!).

A511 from Leicester Through Coalville & Ashby, follow signs for Burton, heading for Burton Town Centre (A511) you will pass The Stanhope Arms and Bretby Golf Course, continue on, going straight over mini roundabout to the next set of traffic lights, filter left (Swan Hotel on right), turn left into Stapenhill Road, past the Rowing Clubs, at the next roundabout (St. Peter’ s Church on right hand side) turn right across St. Peter’ s Bridge, at the end of the bridge take the left hand lane, turning left, follow signs for Washlands. Take first left into Watson Street.

M42/A42, Exit Junction A444 Follow signs for A444 Burton. Through villages, Overseal, Castle Gresley, Stanton. Follow signs A444 to Burton, pick up signs for Town Centre, Trent Washlands. This takes you over St. Peter’ s Bridge (you will see the Regatta Field on your left). Keep in left hand lane, follow sign for Trent Washlands, Left at the Roundabout, then first left into Watson Street, which leads on to the Regatta Fields
